Community Calendar for September 10th

The Lowry Sports Schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, September 12th, the boys JV soccer team will be in Fernley with the match beginning at 1pm.

The girls JV soccer team will be in Fernley with the match beginning at 4pm.

The volleyball teams will be in Fernley with the freshmen taking the court at 4:00, JV at 5:00 and Varsity at 6pm.

Thursday, September 13th, the Lowry Buckaroo’s freshman football team will be hosting Truckee. Kick-off will be at 5pm.

Friday, September 14th, the Lowry Buckaroo JV and Varsity Football team will host Truckee with JV taking the field at 4:30 and Lowry to follow at 7pm.

The Cross Country team will be in North Tahoe for a meet.

The boys’ soccer teams will be at North Tahoe with JV starting at 4:00 and Varsity to follow at 6pm.

The girls’ soccer teams will be hosting North Tahoe with JV taking the field at 3:00 and Varsity to follow at 5pm

The volleyball teams will be at Sparks with the JV taking the court at 5:00 and varsity at 6pm.

Saturday, September 15th, the boys’ soccer teams will be at Truckee with JV starting at 10:00 and Varsity following at noon.

The girls’ soccer teams will be hosting Truckee with the JV starting at 10:00 and Varsity taking to the field at noon.

Community Calendar

September 12th, Humboldt County invites you to attend a community open house to participate in the County’s strategic planning process.  Everyone is invited to attend from 6 to 8pm at the Humboldt Court House, refreshments will be served and prizes will be raffled for participation.  If you have any questions contact Jan Morrison at 775 217 0602.

The 12th annual ‘Walk in Memory Walk for Hope’ is Saturday, September 15th, at the Winnemucca Community Garden.  Registration begins at 8am, or you can register online at nvsuiccideprevention.org.

September 22nd is Public Lands Day and volunteers are needed from 9a to 2p.  Projects will include the Water Canyon Recreation Area and Bloody Shins Mountain Bike Trail System.  For more information check out nevadaoutdoorschoo.org
