There is a $28,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Martin Fire. The Bureau of Land Management has increased the offer to $5000. Separate from the BLM, Snyder Plumbing of Winnemucca is offering $1000, $7000 from Humboldt County, Newmont Mine along with Elko Land and Livestock are offering $5000, and the Stewart Family of 96 Ranch are offering $10,000. The Girls JV and Varsity Soccer Team will take on Elko at home on Tuesday 28th. The JV game begins at 3pm with Varsity beginning at 5pm
The Boys JV and Varsity Soccer Team will travel to Elko on Tuesday the 28th. The JV game begins at 3pm with Varsity to follow at 5pm
The Freshman Football team will travel to Spring Creek Thursday the 30th. The game will begin at 5pm
The Volleyball Teams will travel to Spring Creek on the 31st. The Freshman will begin at 4pm with JV at 5pm and Varsity at 6pm.

Nevada Department of Transportation will begin chip sealing Winnemucca Blvd from exit 173 to exit 176 at 6:30 am on August 29th. This phase will last two days and expect up to half an hour delays with single lane traffic.
The Tri County Fair will begin at 4pm on August 30th with the opening of the Carnival.
The 97th Annual Labor Day Rodeo will begin on September 1st.
September 5th NDOT will apply the final layer to Winnemucca Blvd from Exit 173 to 176. Expect up to thirty-minute delays as the roadwork is completed.
The American Youth Soccer Organization will host their opening ceremony on September 8th at 8am to kick off the soccer season.
