The Lowry boys basketball team has dug themselves into a hole as they dropped a pair of games last weekend at Fernley and Fallon. One of the problems was that sophomore starter Kobe Stoker was held out of both games because of an ankle injury as coach Peters tells Buckaroo Broadcasting.
Not only with Kobe being shut down for a few games Chad knows his team has plenty of work to do and things to smooth out and refocus the team on the little things.
Tonight is a big rivalry game with first place Elko at Lowry High School and Coach Peters is planning to hold out Kobe Stoker for this game in hopes he will be at full strength for the Spring Creek game on Friday night. The Buckaroos will come ready to play but it will be a tall order to beat the Indians.
Friday nights home date with Spring Creek will be a must have game for the Buckaroos if they plan on making the playoffs. Power forward Kobe Stoker should be back in uniform and ready to help lead the Bucks to a victory.
The Buckaroos play tonight at 7:30pm at Lowry and again on Friday at home against Spring Creek at 7:30pm and both games will be broadcast live on 92.1fm and streamed on the internet.
